A pivotal quote that I heard today was, “It all starts with you,…. If you don’t love you then you will not survive. ” While the source is unknown, I couldn’t agree with a more empowering statement that is an awakening for each and everyone of us. Each day we battle with something or with someone and you fail to realize just where you stand in that moment of time. People lose themselves in relationships; healthy and unhealthy. It is possible to lose yourself in work, in titles, in unnecessary frustrations and stresses that come with life. But in lieu of all that surrounds you or engulfs your spirit, it is imperative to stay true to thyself. Never forget who you are, where God is trying to take you, and where you want to be. Because the tragedy lies when you find yourself repeating a never-ending cycle like a dog, which is constantly chasing its tail. The bible declares: “As a dog returns to his vomit, so a fool repeats his folly…” (Proverbs 26:11).
Author James Baldwin says, ” You can’t fix what you don’t face,” and that is the unadulterated truth. Therefore, embrace who you are: your strengths and your struggles, your failures and your achievements. “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do” is what Jesus demonstrated on the cross. It is a prayer that we all must chronically pray so that we rise to the occasion and help someone else along the way. I often say this: Father, forgive me for I didn’t realize what I was doing. I failed to love myself, therefore i failed to love YOU. In loving You better, you can love others better and teach others how to love you. This process of “Loving you” will not happen overnight, but it is achievable. Be blessed, beloved, and show someone some love today; it helps you on the journey of Self-discovery and Recovery.
Remember God will heal the Broken Hearted and bind up their Wounds. Even when we don’t feel it, God is working it out and the Tension is a signal that the Track of change, and Transformation is nigh. My Daughters, you must always remember that the cords of wickedness are being severed RIGHT NOW, because you have consciously Responded and take an subconscious Responsibility to Release, RELINQUISH, and be Refined by God our Father. This is Our Prayer: Father we thank you that you are a mighty Healer and that you are Restoring our Souls even now. We lay aside every weight. We walk in Total Forgiveness, perfect peace and Divine Favor RIGHT now.
Father, Release my children and I from unhealthy habits, unhealthy decisions, and unhealthy relationships that hinder our healing. May the River of your healing Hand strengthen and stretch unto us now. I speak the Oil of Heart Protection and Redirection in Jesus’ name. Healing is never easy, but it is POSSIBLE and gets EASIER day by day. ABBA Father, God you are offering us a choice today and we CHOOSE you. Teach us your way as we walk in your truth. Grant us an undivided heart and righteous resolve so that Fear of the Lord overrides our Flesh. Clean hands and a pure heart is our daily duty and delight. Thank you for your Love that is Great and never runs dry and for delivering us from the depths of the grave.
