Torise L. Hiller was born and raised in the city of Passaic, NJ and is one of a triplet. She is a product of the Passaic School System and worked as a middle school/High School English teacher for over a decade. In addition, she also taught High School English/ Technology, Adult Education and currently works as an Adjunct Professor at Essex County Community college College. She also works at College prep Charter HS in Newark, NJ. She is an educator, prolific writer, innovator, motivator, Empowerment Speaker and distinctive blueprint to all she encounters. Dr. Hiller earned a Bachelors of Arts in Liberal Arts & education as well as a Masters in Teaching from Hampton University, Hampton Va. She furthered her education and received a Masters in Special Education from New Jersey City University in 2006, followed by several seminary courses/certificates earned from Dr. Howard Anderson Divinity school. She received a Masters in Theological Studies and Doctorate in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University. Dr. Hiller is a strong believer of higher learning and firmly stands on the motto “the mind is a terrible thing to waste.”
Dr. Hiller firmly believes and stands on the power of intercessory prayer and the word of God and lives by the motto that “The effectual fervent prayers of the righteous availeth much-James 5:16.” She has been ministering via writing and speech most of her life to all who would listen and she has willingly studied continuously and given her life to God for such a time as this. Dr. Hiller has ministered on platforms such as at Hampton University for their Student Christian Association conference, and has preached at revivals, women/youth conferences, bible study retreats, prayer shut-ins and facilitated Leadership/Laity workshops as well as being a vital contributor in developing curriculum , sermons, ministries, and books.
Outside of ministry, Dr. Hiller has served as a Vice-President, Leader, Mentor, Advisor and Chaplain for various organizations. Dr. Hiller’s unique methods and message of Healing, Transformation and Self-Discovery is where she remains diligent in service. Her gift to cultivate, impact, inspire and encourage is trans-formative and relational.
Dr. Hiller has vowed to follow his footprints to do the same to all who is willing to hear his Word and to those who will adhere to the Great Commission. She currently serves her clients and community as a mentor, spiritual life coach/counselor, writing coach, ghost-writer, editor and is a master teacher over varies series and devotional blogs encompassing matters of the heart and other topics towards spiritual formation. She is soon to be a published author.
