Yes, I said; it your secret is your strength and who would ever have the courage to say this out loud that something so sacred to the heart which caused so much pain is STRENGTH. Strength is developed through conditioning; it is manifested from Hurdles and mountains that have been overcome. In receiving physical therapy, you are retraining your muscles to be strengthened in a way that has been weakened by an incident, accident or physical ailment. But news flash: Secrets are not kept by accident or incident, but sealed purposefully and misdirecting delaying healing. So I encourage you dear heart to embrace your Secret which is Therapy towards Healing Beyond Measure.
Secrets Breed Sickness is the cliché saying that is prevalently said out loud however, no one ever wants to disclose their secrets. Secrets create sickness because of the toxicity that you are carrying from not being honest with yourself and being honest with others about what is going on in your mind, spirit and soul. Can I share this truth with you my friend?- My soul always felt some sense of insanity as long as I preserved the pieces of me that were not revealed candidly. Nonetheless, on the journey towards Light, I have discovered that our secrets are Live and In Living Color because no matter how much we try to escape them, they cannot escape us. Everywhere I go I see, smell or sense a secret in the shape of a spiritual daughter who is struggling with self esteem issues, or a woman who has been broken demanding to be put back together, or a student who has weight management issues, the man or child who is suffering with unrealistics pressures or the individual in church who is being “extra” because their soul is screaming out for attention from someone that really wants to be there for life and share a space in life with them and not abandon them. In this prevalent time, Crisis has ushered us into private realities that we have not given full attention to or avoided in the busyness of life. Yet, God loves us enough and considers us by ushering us into moments at the Cross (Covid19) as we Crossover into the Crucible of Christ.
Honest Revelation..
What do you do when the main character in the Story of Your Life called “Secret closet” has the leading role and his/her first name is Leader, Parent, Entrepreneur, Reverend or Pastor in the front, yet, John, Susan, Jamie, (your first name) has given reverence to the secret and it’s time to be exposed. It is our secrets that have caused guilt, shame and many other stigmas that try to paralyze God’s birthing within. Greater is he that is in us, than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4). For years I could not share any secrets, but then I got to a place where I became comfortable sharing the secrets or lies that created such dysfunctional movements and mannerisms. I can share that I was violated in multiple ways, but the most dreadful secret I can share is that I violated myself and continued to violate myself repeatedly for many years because of failure to out the sorrow, and suffering. I surrendered to the evil notion that death seemed more plausible than living until God headlocked my Soul and Truth became the dominating factor that would shift Everything. We must arrive at the place of acknowledge What Happened, in addition to what God did in the Happening.
The difficult space in secrets lie within and we are the leading factor labeled Secret.
SECRETS…
Most secrets that we share we long to hide because of the negative connotation that comes with it, but what if your secret is apositive reality that is chronically head-locking you? Secrets: What do you say to them? There is nothing you casually say to them, but rather you MUST SPEAK TO THEM under Spiritual Authority AND YOU MUST UNLEASH THE DRAGON CALLED SECRETS and SPEAK IT OUT-LOUD. Secrets demand removing yourself from the equation and step into the realm of another soul who is waiting for your truthful Secret spoken without Sorrow to be exposed to another so that they get permission to be Healed, Transformed and no longer walk around sick or stuck. To share the testimony of overcoming darkness and formerly struggling with depression initially made me question my walk in faith, my walk with thee and mostly my walk with me. Nevertheless, If I can state on Sunday morning that Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world, than Why is it so difficult to identify with WHO I REALLY am? Yes, the secret of being at the Garden of my Gethsemane for years because of unspoken realities, trauma, tragedy and most times just burn out or “commitments to false assignments/territories” has a way of setting the captives free. When we are willing to admit our secret truth, God grants us divine secret revelation concerning us, our motives and his intention. The bible declares, “We Overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the words of our testimony”- Revelation 12:11. The truth in the exposure of secrets is that there are times when you will feel the sting, but you must recognize that you cannot allow the sting to kill you. As warriors and truth-seekers, we cannot allow the sting to cut off our blessings, inheritance or block God’s progress within. The titles we obtain or are given by creations, vocations, revelations, gifts or assignments should not share the same space in authentic self awareness. Be empowered and encouraged to know that on the journey of discovery, truth, trust, transparency and surrender of secrets, You WILL arrive at the place of what I call “Greatness Identity” which is what God wants to expose to the world- the power and presence of his Glory to fill the earth ( Acts 2:22) I am so glad to finally meet and greet her.
The Question I Leave with you: Are you ready and willing for countless rounds in experiencing God bumps daily by daring to leap blind-foldly in the presence and pulse of your truth, God’s truth and the powerful revelation of how that there is a Divine gift in the gutting.
